Dr. Muzafar Ahmad Bhat is currently serving as a Lecturer at the P. G. Dept. of Sericulture, Poonch Camus, University of Jammu. His P. G. and Ph. D. degrees were earned at the University of Mysore. 30 of his original research papers have been published in reputable/ recommended national and international journals. In addition, he has authored many books and several book chapters. He occasionally attended Seminars, Workshops, National and International Conferences and refresher courses. For his ongoing efforts and enthusiasm in the subject of sericulture, he has received numerous awards like the Young Scientist Award, Best Thesis Award, Excellent Researcher Award, Best Sericulturist Award, Best Teacher Award, Research Excellence Award, etc. His scientific interests include Proteomics, Genomics, and Insect Cytogenetics.
Understanding various medical sciences, such as drug development, immunology, pathology, pharmacy, vaccine development, etc., requires a thorough understanding of biochemistry. A branch of study called molecular biology investigates biology at the molecular level. Through the use of biological methods mixed with concepts from Genetics and Biochemistry, Molecular Biologists are able to integrate Biology and Chemistry, specifically Genetics and Biochemistry. The composition, structure, function, and relationships of cellular elements such proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids that are in charge of carrying out biological activities are also studied by molecular biology.
